Multilingual websites: one website, several languages
Revivra team ·
In Switzerland, multilingualism is part of everyday business for many SMEs. Revivra now creates your website in several languages. You choose the languages you want in the questionnaire, and each one becomes a complete translation of your website. A language switcher is built in.
How it works
- Revivra detects the language of your existing website. Your new website is created in this main language first.
- In the questionnaire you add further languages: German, French, Italian or English.
- Revivra translates the finished content into each chosen language. Layout, images and structure stay identical, and only the text changes. All language versions therefore look the same and stay consistent when you edit them.
Good for visitors and for Google
- Every page has a language switcher. Visitors switch to their language with one click and land on the same page.
- Each language has its own address, for example
/fr/for the French version. - Thanks to hreflang annotations, search engines recognise which pages belong together and show searchers the matching language version.
Good to know
- The free preview shows your website in the main language. The other languages are created during the full generation.
- Translations are produced by AI. You should have particularly important text, such as prices, legal notices or technical terms specific to your industry, checked by a native speaker before going live. You make changes directly in the editor.
